Every year Bhutan celebrates teachers day 2nd may, demarking His Majestry the third Druk Gyalpo's  birth anniversary.Not just in schools but all over the country ,Bhutan. The students of SMSS celebrated Teacher's Day in the MPH hall symbolizing a day to thank all the teachers.

The celebration began with warm welcome to all the teaching staff and non-teaching staff.Then we sing a Zhabteb,National  Anthem, and lighted a butter lamp by Teachers.After that cake cutting ceremony by Principal(Mr.Sonam Jamtsho).Then a warm welcome speech by our games captain(Mr.Tshering Tenzin)He spoke on how thankful he was and he was glad to be a student of Samcholing school.After the speech all captains were on the stage to perform welcome dance.The next program was class dance and in a middle of the dance there was a game for the teeachers and staff.Around 1:00 the lunch was surve to the students near the kitchen and teachers were surved lunch in dining hall. After lunch there was a football match versus male teacher and boys. During the match the match was won by our teacher.

The celebration of teacher's day at Samcholing school was a success,where by celebration was gone well. It inspired students to continue celebration of teacher's and lifelong celebration.
